今日は、イギリスのバンド「New Hope Club」の新曲「Start Over Again」を和訳してみました。
プロムのステージで演奏する「New Hope Club」の3人と、プロムに女の子を誘ったけどふんだりけったりな3人のパートにわかれたPVもかわいい。
歌詞は未練たっぷりのものになってるようですが…(笑)

「Start Over Again」を和訳してみて
和訳をしてみて思ったのが「とにかくダサい男子の曲」ってこと。
そりゃドレスにドリンクこぼしちゃったり、遅刻したり、ワリカンにしたりすれば女の子もゲンメツしますわ(笑)
とにかくもう一度デートしたい、やり直したいって気持ちがひしひしと伝わってきますね。
素直な気持ちがダダ漏れだからか、和訳もすっとやりやすかったです。
それと、PVがとにかくかわいいです。
バンドとして演奏するかっこいいNew Hope Clubと、ふんだりけったりでダサいNew Hope Clubを楽しむことができます。
すっごくかっこいい彼らがとびきりダサい男子を演じるの、めちゃかわいい…！(笑)
曲もかわいくて、ますますNew Hope Clubの虜になりました。
