「Crowded Room」和訳メモ

Adore：憧れる、崇拝する

Deserve：値する、～にふさわしい

Conor Maynardの曲といえば…

「R U Crazy」や「Royalty」のような、ノリのよさが印象的でしたが。

最近はこの「Crowded Room」や「Hate How Much I Love You」のような、歌声を聴かせるような曲も増えていますよね。

とくに「Crowded Room」のサビの部分。少しかすれた高音部分がせつなく、やさしいです。

MVの主人公はおじいちゃん。晩年を迎え、ひとりぼっち。愛しい人はもういない。回想の中で、同じく年老いた愛しい人と特別な時間を過ごす様子が描かれています。

回想なので、実際は渡す相手のいない花束がちょっぴりせつない。

歌詞にも「僕の人生は、キミと過ごしたい」とあるので、時が経った後に、思い出を振り返る感じ。

MVでも、つくろうことなく心をこめて歌うConorの様子が見れますよ。
